Grammy Awards 2012: Adele takes home six awards

A mere hours before Adele would cap off a stellar night at the Grammys with a Best Album win for her "21" release, the singer was a special guest of Anderson Cooper on "60 Minutes" (Sun., 7 p.m. EST on CBS).

Until Saturday, the pre-show drama had focused on Adele and how the six-time-nominee would fare in her first public performance since canceling a tour and having surgery on her vocal cords. A glowing Adele did not disappoint, nor was she disappointed.

Adele nabbed all six of the awards for which she was nominated, including song and record of the year for “Rolling in the Deep,” tying Beyonce for the most wins by a solo female artist in one year. She's also only the sixth artist to sweep all three
