Woods started the this Pro-Am event playing the Pebble Beach course. He was paired with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo who also shows promise as an amateur golfer. The strongest area of Woods' game was undoubtedly his short iron shots.

"I feel like I just turned 40 at the beginning of this year, and for some reason it was really weird, I felt really comfortable with myself," he explained after taking a three-shot lead at the ATT Pebble Beach National Pro Am Friday.
