When I read this verse I think of my self as a father. I can’t say that I love my kids if I allow them to continually make mistakes. Love is correction anyone that sits there and allows you to sin or make mistakes doesn’t love you. This is why God sent the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us in our day to day lives. So embrace God’s correction because it is a demonstration of his love.
