When I think of this verse it makes me think of Love and what Love really means.  Love is Sacrifice.  Only through sacrifice can you show love to another.  The world tells us that love is romantic setting, and looking into someones eyes.  Though these things are great and needed they aren’t real love, it more lust than love.  An example of love is when a woman sacrifices her body to birth children for the man she loves.  When a husband puts the needs of his family above his own.  When a friend takes the time to sit with a friend during a hard time. Also when a person Sacrifices there life for the betterment of someone else.

This is the type of Love that Jesus offers us.  Our job as christian is to accept his love and to share it with other.
